Happy New Year

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your support in 2020 and we wish you a Happy New Year. We hope you found a way to enjoy the holidays and stay safe.

Throughout the month of December, we donated $10 from every book purchase on our website towards the Sempervirens Fund to help restore and protect the redwood forests of Santa Cruz Mountains. Thank you for every single purchase you made!

2020 was challenging for all with COVID, WFH, BLM, wildfires in the west coast, US elections, and physical distancing from our social core. However, families found a way to collaborate and thrive. We hope 2021 will be positive and we can’t wait to share news of our collaborative creative projects and children's books under progress. For now, here is a look back on Emmemm activities in 2020.

Warm wishes,

- Vlada, Muthu, Eira and Emilee

Emmemm Publishing and year 2020 1. New arrivals

We published two new collaborative children's books: Pigeons in the Subway and Unicorns in Gymnastica. We shared more about how these stories came together in two blog posts you can read here: The Unicorn Story and Rachael Smith and the Journey of Pigeons in the Subway.

2. Blog

We started a new blog series called Behind the Book Art to introduce you to the group of talented artists, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers who help us turn our stories into innovative and multidimensional art.

3. E-books

Select titles from our children's books range were turned into e-books. If you read with Kindle Unlimited, you will be able to enjoy some of them for free. Learn more and shop here.

4. Activities for kids

We teamed up with Alexis Kandra, a talented artist and an art teacher, and created a guide to draw your own magical worlds based on the paintings Alexis created for our best-selling children's book The Redwood Tree and Its Friends. You can watch the tutorial here.
