Dear friends, we feel that past few weeks have been filled with anxiety due to the severity of COVID-19. This does not have to be true for everyone and we do not wish to add to the stress, but we would still like to share with you how we are dealing with the overwhelming amount of the news concerning the spread of the virus.
As we announced via our social media channels, we are nearing the launch of two new collaborative books - Unicorns in Gymnastica and Pigeons in the Subway. At this stage, we received the final notes from our editor and are getting ready to color proof both publications. All of our books are printed in the Czech Republic and we are in touch with the team over there to stay up to date about the local situation as well as any international shipping regulations.
In our personal lives, we are fortunate and relieved both Muthu and I are able to work from home. I am homeschooling Eira and Emilee during this time and together, we are all working towards the smooth launch of our new books. We need to be a bit more creative when it comes to spending our time home while social distancing, but as we love art, books and spending time together, we take on the challenge happily and try to act responsibly at all times.
Last but not least, if you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, please take this seriously and try to avoid social contact as well as follow the official WHO and CDC recommendations on what to do in such case.
