Sash Making: Wear Your Voice! with Ms. Muscle

Drawing inspiration from the women’s suffrage movement, participants will craft their own sashes. Ms. Muscle will present her sash and examples worn by the Suffragettes. Participants will then design and decorate their sashes using words, colors, and symbols to express who they are and what they care about.

Barbara Lubliner, aka Ms. Muscle, is a visual artist whose work often explores language; she creates monotypes using letters and words. As Ms. Muscle she celebrates powerful women and encourages people of all genders to be their "biggest and breast self.”
